The Charter of the VET

The charter of the Vishwakarma Educational Trust is to:

• Promote higher education of the sons and daughters of the Vishwakarma families, in particular,
• Provide financial assistance to the families which are unable to, or find it very difficult to afford the high cost of college education for their children.

In so implementing its charter, the VET provides scholarships to students for pursuing higher education in colleges and in the subjects of their choice. The Higher Education is typically understood to be the education after the 12th standard of high school, in colleges affiliated with the Universities in Gujarat. The VET also provides financial assistance to students desirous of undertaking Vocational training courses so that they can be certified tradesman to serve various industries or be in small business of their own.

The VET provides financial assistance to some non-Vishwakarma origin families who cannot afford to provide higher education for their children, as well.
