Courses Eligible for Scholarship
The VET Online Scholarship Program covers the following courses:
- Vocational or Industrial Training (typically of one or two year’s duration after standard 10). The students completing the course receive Certificate issued by the State of Gujarat. Such courses may earn a License to work as a Licensed Tradesman (say, as an Electrician, or a Carpenter).
- Diploma (typically three, three and half, or four years with the last six months for practical training for industry experience related to the course of study).
- Degree in Bachelors studies (Graduate courses typically of four years duration after standard 12).
- Degree in Masters or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) (Post-graduate course, typically of two years duration after graduation; Medical studies may include a year of Internship with a total of six and a half years’ duration after standard 12).
- Combination or Integrated course of studies, for example, Commerce graduate (B.Com) with Chartered Accountancy (CA), or Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Company Secretary, and other composite courses may have different duration.
