Terms and Conditions
The VET provides scholarships to the students whose families reside in only the following Districts: Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Vapi (includes Dadra & Nagar Haveli). The students from other districts will not be able to apply.
- The VET may, in its sole discretion, deny the scholarship if the information provided in the application form is determined to be false, giving the reasons thereof by an email at the applicant's email address provided in the application form.
- The VET reserves the right to delegate the responsibilities to independently verify the information provided by the applicant in the application form. The signature of the applicant and his/her parent is an implied consent for the VET to do so.
- The VET may amend the Terms and Conditions for the scholarship program as deemed appropriate, as and when necessary, and as approved by the Board of Trustees of the VET.
- The Board of Trustees of the VET shall establish the “Approved” scholarship amounts based on:
- The available funds for the year,
- The number of applications approved in the year, and
- A predetermined percentage of the college Semester or Term fees for the type of Course-Degree, Diploma, Certificate, etc.
- The applicant shall be required to open and maintain his/her Savings bank account with any Nationalized or Private Bank and provide the account information to the VET in the scholarship application form. The VET shall instruct its bank to directly deposit the “Awarded” scholarship amount to the applicant's bank account. The VET shall not pay scholarships by check, draft, or in cash.
- The VET shall notify the applicant of the status of the application, the approval or disapproval of the scholarship, and the award of the scholarship amount to the students by email.
- The scholarship shall consider the College Semester or Term Fees (instead of only Tuition fees), already paid for the semester(s) or year for which the application is submitted, against the college fee paid receipt. It will not pay for the Admission fee, and in advance for the subsequent semester or year which the student has not paid the fees for, and which has not yet commenced.
- The student will not be able to submit incomplete application, if the required supporting documents are not uploaded, or if any field is left blank. The fee-paid receipt must indicate the course and the semester or the year number for which the fees are paid. The application with the paid fee receipt without this specific information will not be considered.
