Know before you apply.
- The applicants will need to Register using their E-Mail ID before they can even begin the application process.
- The applicants will be required to open a joint saving’s bank account with any Nationalized or Private Bank, on their name and on one of their parent’s name and include the account details in the application.
- The students can apply online on the computer in the comfort of their home or where they can get an access to computer, even from their college library.
- The application form will only be in the English language.
- The information required in the application form will need to be supported by the documents listed in the Supporting Documents section. The supporting documents will be used to verify the information provided in the application form and in determining the eligibility of the students for scholarship.
- Unlike submitting the hard copy of the supporting documents with the hand-written applications as done in the past, they will be “Uploaded” on the computer while the application form is filled out.
- All required information and all required supporting documents will need to be included in the application without which the application form cannot be submitted. The process will not allow submitting incomplete application form.
- Only the online application fully completed and accompanied by the required supporting documents shall be submitted to the Trust and shall be considered for scholarship. All other applications, not submitted online, will not be considered in any circumstance.
- All information will be verified against the supporting documents. Upon the verification of the information which is in agreement with the supporting documents, the eligibility of students for receiving scholarship will be determined.
- The program (and not an individual) will determine the scholarship amount.
- The scholarship amount will be a program-calculated percentage of the college semester fee paid by the student. The percentage will be different based on the course of study selected by the student -Vocational, Diploma, Bachelor’s (graduate), and Master’s or Doctorate degree (post-graduate) studies.
- The scholarship amount will be electronically credited from the Trust’s bank account directly to the scholarship recipient’s bank account.
- The Program will send the E-Mail notifications to the recipient’s E-Mail address indicated in the application form, when, a) the application is received by the VET, b) the scholarship application is approved with the amount awarded, or disapproved, with the reason for disapproval. c) when the bank transfer is completed.
